We feel truly blessed that over a span of nine years from inception in January 1998, the Indian Women's Association has remained committed to its mission to help those in need. Indian Women's Association (IWA) is a non-profit organization.


Our mandate of "To Lend A Helping Hand" has since our evolvement been the backbone of hope, trust and promise of assistance to the under-privileged. We have broadened our mission over the years, and present help lines continue with our basic mandate of help to the needy and putting smiles of faces who have forgotten to smile. Our focus has been:

- Sponsoring Education for Students base on a need-based assessment in coordination with the School Management
- Offering assistance in times of crisis -sudden death/illness of the destitute
- Working with physically challenged children - organizing special outings and treats. Each year, IWA arranges for at least a couple of special outings for the physically challenged children of the Kuwait Society for the Handicapped (KSH).
- Contributing to special humanitarian causes in times of national disasters

We owe a special thanks to the Indian Ambassador, H.E. Mr. Ganapathi and his wife, Our Patron Mrs. Uma Ganapathi for their whole hearted support and active participation.
